We've revisited this idea, as something for the community to collaborate on, and instead of me just plugging away at this on my own, and turning people in Fantasy Representations of themselves (usually as morons), we've decided to mix it up a bit. This time round, we're rebooting the story, and we're writing it LIVE on twitch. (click here to follow us, to be notified about when the FRCS goes live)
This first 1,000 word chapter was what was written in our first spur of the moment session, earlier today.

After each live session, we will post the outcome as a blog post, here on the website, for everyone to enjoy.
Bitter. Both the taste in Bernad’s mouth, and the mood he was in. As usual, his morning had been ruined. He looked up, glaring over the table at the… Woman? A term used very loosely, where his wife was concerned. Aaron returned the glare, gruel leaking from the corner of her cracked lips, as her lopsided jaw churned away like a moose in a ripe field.
“What?” The goblin’s green skin shimmered in the morning sun.
“Will you both shut up?” Came a low groan from the deerskin hut, off to the side, before another small green head emerged from within.
“Morning, Zach!” Bernads spoke merrily, allowing the porridge that he had just stuffed into his own wide mouth to spill out at the edges. Proper goblin style. He grinned, in a way that he was certain to come across as winsome, at the spectacular achievement. Though in reality ended up looking as if he was attempting to push out a larger-than-normal turd, where he sat.
“He said shut up, you cretin.” Aaron growled, before flicking back his luscious raven black hair.
The trio paused, as a long wailing shout began to echo through the trees to the side of them. A sound that was rapidly growing louder, accompanied by the hurried tempo of footfalls and snapping twigs.
“Attack!” Zach squealed, somehow confusing his own leg for a combatant, as he took a stumbling swipe at himself, only to tumble forward in a mass of limbs, face first into the dirt.
“The weapons!” Aaron squealed, catching the loose coconut that had he had shoved down his too-short dress in place of his breasts, right before it fell free. Bernads, feeling brave in the face of so much danger, shot to his own feet, scanning the ground with his expertly trained hunters eyes, for anything that may pass as a weapon. He grinned, locating a mighty club, off to one side, lain peacefully at the base of a tall oak.
“My love!” He called, in the typically squeaky way of the goblin-kind, grabbing the immense weapon from where it lay, and tossing it over to his one true love. Aaron grabbed the club with a frown, moving her mud-brown eyes over the tiny twig she now held, with a glare of confusion.
“And what in the shit is this supposed to do?” She squealed, snapping the small stick between little thumb, and forefinger.
In that moment, the foliage to the side parted in an explosion of leaves.
“Ahhhh!” Came the scream, as a tall, metal encased, man burst forth, his cry of terror reverberating inside his closed helmet, right up to the point that he collided with the great oak. Two things happened next, both in such close succession that to anyone not paying close attention, may have thought that they in fact occurred simultaneously. In actual fact, what happened first, was that the deafening clang of metal on wood, was then succeeded by the man rebounding from the bark of the great tree, with such force that it appeared as if he had instead collided with something non-solid, bouncing backwards with such speed that it appeared as if he had been launched.
“Oh.” Aaron stated, somewhat disappointed as he watched the knight crumble into a still heap. “It’s just Faz.” Zach’s low throated growl evident of his mood, a sound that, although meant to be intimidating, was somewhat like that of a chihuahua waiting for breakfast.
“Should we help him?” Bernads’ timid question attracting the glares of the others, as the three quickly shuffled over towards where the huge knight had fallen. “Faz?” A bulbous green toe poked forward, pressing against the side of the fallen knight’s steel-encased head, rocking it gently from side to side.
“Is he dead?” Aaron’s question causing the others to lean in over the knight.
“Ahhh!” The armoured man roared, rocking forward into an upright position, sending the three goblins off in all directions, screaming in terror.
“Ahhh!” The tiny green-skinned idiots roared in agreement as their little feet thundered back across the camp. The knight paused, moving his head from side to side in confusion, before settling back forward.
“Blast.” He muttered, pushing himself with one arm, back up onto his feet. “It’s alright, dear friends!” His call prompting the re-emergence of three small green heads from various poorly hidden locations. “I’ve chased them off!”
“Chased who off?” Zach shot back, eyeing their surroundings warily, as if expecting to be jumped at any moment.
“Why the uh-” The knight trailed off, his heavy metal gauntlet clunking against his helm, as if the man had forgotten his head to be encased before attempting to scratch his scalp in confusion. “The… The bad guys, obviously.”
“Bad guys?” Aaron squealed, ducking back behind the mound of grass that she had been hiding behind. Unfortunately, that mound of grass was barely big enough to cover her little green ankles.
“Oh yes.” Faz replied, dusting himself off with both gauntleted fingers, with a loud, uncomfortable, metal on metal grinding sound. “They shan’t be bothering our merry little band any more, let me tell you that!” His arrogant chuckle echoing hollowly within the steel helm.
“Oh Faz!” Aaron squealed in admiration as she launched herself from behind the tuft, at such speed, that both of her breast-coconuts went flying in two separate directions, before she slammed bodily into the heroic knight’s shin with a tight hug. “You’re my hero!”
“Hey!” Bernads’ offended shout squealing from behind a dead bush, that he had chosen to disguise himself within. Masterfully, he may add. Dead bush, no leaves. He was green. Leaves were green. New leaves. Sound goblin logic. In fact, he would go as far as to say that he had literally become invisible during his expert session of hiding.
“Fuck off Bernads.” Aaron shot back, just as Zach slammed into the Knight’s other leg, in another all-encompassing hug.
“Erm.” The tall warrior muttered, futilely kicking each leg out at random in attempt to dislodge the unwanted affection, though unfortunately to no avail. “Perchance we should continue upon our adventure?” The question punctuated by a slightly more severe kick, that sent Zach flying off a short distance, with a high pitched squeal that sounded somewhat like a child screaming ‘Weeeeee!’.
