Tell us what you have
A short message, a photo, or rough quantities by rarity. Single PSA slabs, sealed booster boxes, lofts of bulk — we want to hear about it.
Transparent UK bulk pricing
We're one of the only UK Pokémon buyers who publish bulk rates up front. Use them to size up your collection in under a minute — then fill in the form for an itemised offer that prices keys, sealed and graded singles individually on top.
| Card type | Per-card rate |
|---|---|
| Common & Uncommon | 1p |
| Trainer | 1p |
| Reverse Holo | 3p |
| Holo Rare | 5p |
| Half-art / Promo | 6p |
| Full-art & Ultra Rare | 25p+ |
Vintage WOTC, base-set holos, 1st editions, sealed product, modern alt-arts and graded singles are valued individually — almost always well above the bulk rate. We do not buy energy cards.
From box to bank transfer in days, not weeks
Four steps. No shop visits, no eBay fees, no auction commissions eating your payout. Free 48-hour valuation, you post us the cards, and we pay the same day they arrive.
What we buy
If it's a Pokémon TCG card, the chances are we want it. Vintage WOTC through to the very latest Scarlet & Violet alt-arts, sealed product, graded slabs in any holder, Japanese sets, and bulk lots of any size from anywhere in the UK.
Selling your Pokémon cards, made easy
You don't need a printer, packing experience, courier accounts, or a Saturday afternoon free. Here's exactly what happens once you decide to sell your Pokémon collection to Fantasy Road.
A little bit about us
Fantasy Road is a two-person, UK-based card-buying business — Matt (ex-developer, runs the Pokémon Whatnot shows, handles every valuation personally) and Amy (the operations half). We've been buying Pokémon cards from private sellers across the UK since 2020, and over five years it has quietly become the largest part of what we do. Hundreds of collections a year, from a single PSA-graded Charizard through to seven-figure-card lifetime accumulations cleared out of a parent's loft.
Most of the people we buy from aren't dealers — they're sellers who pulled cards as kids in 1999, parents whose grown-up children left a binder behind, or modern collectors thinning out duplicates from Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet. Almost everyone arrives with the same two questions: "where can I sell my Pokémon cards in the UK without getting ripped off?" and "how much are these actually worth?" Both answers come back the same week, by email, from a real human — not an automated bot or a generic lump-sum bid.
What sets us apart from a generic "we buy collectibles" middleman is that Pokémon TCG is genuinely our home category. Matt knows the difference between shadowless and unlimited Base Set on sight, can spot a Pokéball or Master Ball reverse-pattern variant in a stack of bulk, and prices Japanese sets (Pokémon Card 151, VSTAR Universe, Triplet Beat) using the same live JP-eBay sold data we'd use on our own collection. That depth of knowledge is why our offers tend to come in stronger than the generic UK card buyers — we know what's worth paying up for and what's bulk.
We deliberately publish our bulk rates rather than hiding them. 1p / 3p / 5p / 6p / 25p+ printed in black and white above. That number is the number on the bank transfer — no surprise deductions for "sorting fees" or "transport", no last-minute haggle once your cards arrive. If a key card grades up under our inspection, we tell you and pay more, not less.
One important practical note: we don't operate a public shopfront. That was a 2021 decision — physical-shop overheads (rent, utilities, staff) get baked into every offer a high-street card shop makes, which is why their bulk rates are typically half ours. Going online-only let us push that money straight back into paying more for your Pokémon cards, which is exactly the trade-off most of our sellers tell us they wanted.
How we value Pokémon cards
Pokémon TCG valuation is not the same as comic-book valuation. Print runs are smaller, condition tolerances are tighter, and modern reverse-pattern variants can swing a card's value tenfold. Here's exactly what Matt looks at when your photos land in the inbox.
Want to know how much a specific card is worth before you commit? Photograph the front and back, drop them into the form below, and we'll give you a real number — not a "from £X" placeholder.
How much is my Pokémon card worth in the UK?
A snapshot of the keys, alt-arts and pattern variants UK sellers ask us about most often. Ranges are buy prices in GBP for clean, untampered cards — actual offers always come from your photos and the live last-14-day comps. Sealed and graded versions almost always exceed the top of these ranges.
Indicative ranges only — the Pokémon TCG market moves week-to-week. Don't see your card here? Drop a photo into the form and we'll come back with a real number inside 48 hours.
UK Pokémon sellers — in their own words
Real reviews from sellers who've posted us a collection — vintage WOTC binders, modern bulk hauls, sealed Elite Trainer Boxes, the lot. 4.9★ average across 101+ Google reviews.
The selling-Pokémon cheat sheet
To give you the most accurate (and competitive) Pokémon valuation, we need a few simple details. Don't worry — this isn't an exam. If you're not sure about something, the form will guide you, and we'll fill in the rest.
Frequently asked questions
The same handful of questions come up over and over again. Here are the honest answers — the same ones we'd give over the phone.
