Mile High Comics

The largest comic book retailer in the United States, with over ten million back issues catalogued and a fifty-year trading history.

About Mile High Comics

Founded in 1969 by Chuck Rozanski, Mile High Comics is widely regarded as the largest single comic book dealer in the world by raw inventory count. Their Denver headquarters reportedly stores over ten million catalogued back issues, and the online storefront mirrors that with one of the deepest searchable inventories on the web.

The site is built around a flat-fee per-issue pricing model with regular sitewide promotions — half-price sales, dollar bins, and themed thematic discounts run almost continuously, which makes Mile High a strong option for run completists and bargain hunters. Higher-value graded books, key issues, and original Marvel and DC publications are also listed but generally at market rates rather than discount.

Mile High has historic significance in the hobby beyond just retail. The famous Edgar Church / Mile High pedigree — the highest-quality run of Golden Age books ever discovered — was acquired by Rozanski in 1977 and is the benchmark by which all other pedigreed copies are still measured today. CGC and CBCS notate Mile High pedigree status on slab labels where applicable, and pedigreed copies command significant premiums on the secondary market.

For UK buyers, international shipping is standard and tracked, but pay attention to customs handling on multi-book orders.
