CBCS Label Scanner: Capture Graded Comic Details

Use clear CBCS slab photos to capture grade, page quality, certification and comic details for an editable inventory record.

Identify · verify · list

Make the CBCS label legible

Photograph the slab straight on in broad, even light. Avoid reflections across the grade and certification number, and take a dedicated label close-up if the full-holder photograph is not sharp enough.

Record more than the number grade

Include page quality, verified or witnessed signature wording, restoration notes, variant information and other label comments that may materially affect a buyer’s expectations.

Check transcribed numbers carefully

Certification numbers and issue details are vulnerable to single-character errors. Compare the draft with the physical label and any official lookup result before attaching it to inventory.

Keep the record editable

A scanner should accelerate transcription, not lock uncertain data. Preserve the source photographs and allow corrections to every field before exporting or publishing.

Use the right tool

Comicz can reduce repetitive identification and listing work, but every result should be checked against the physical item and current market evidence.
