Beckett Grading Services (BGS)

Beckett Grading Services (BGS) is one of the longest-running trading card grading services in the hobby, with roots in the sports card market dating back decades. BGS grades cards on the same 1-10 scale used by PSA and CGC but additionally publishes four sub-grades (Centering, Corners, Edges, Surface), giving collectors a forensic view of where a card lost points.

A BGS Black Label 10 (a perfect 10 across all four sub-grades) is one of the most prestigious designations in the entire collectibles hobby and routinely prices at a significant premium over a regular 10.
