Shortlist the comics first
Start with keys, scarce variants, high-grade copies and books whose authenticity or protection matters. Check recent sold prices in the likely grade and compare them with the raw value.
A common comic worth less than the total grading cost is rarely a strong financial submission, although sentimental reasons can still justify grading.
Complete, pack and track
Enter the exact issue, variant, publication year and honest fair market value. Use a fresh bag and board, sandwich books between rigid cardboard and pack them so movement is limited without crushing corners.
