About TAG Grading
TAG (Technical Authentication & Grading) is a newer entrant in the card grading space that uses computer vision and a published grading rubric to score every card on a 1000-point scale alongside the traditional 1-10 grade. Each TAG slab links to an interactive online report that shows precisely where a card scored points and where it lost them.
The transparency model has earned TAG a strong following among collectors who want to understand exactly why a card received the grade it did, rather than the more opaque human-grader model used by the legacy services.
