A stocktake should reveal a problem before it creates another one. Comicz records the difference between expected and found stock, but it does not automatically declare a missing comic lost.
Prepare labels from permanent inventory
Box labels are built from Pro inventory records sharing the same room, rack and box. Print at 100% scale, keep the QR border clear and replace labels when the box identity changes.
Count in physical order
Scan the label or open Box stocktake, select the location and enter the checker name. Work from the front of the box, ticking each expected item. Mark all found is useful only after the whole box has genuinely been checked.
Record the awkward findings
Enter unexpected SKUs or short notes. A missing record may have sold, moved or been filed under a slightly different box spelling. An unexpected comic may simply lack an inventory record.
Resolve after the count
Save the dated reconciliation, then investigate channel history, recent dispatches and neighbouring boxes. Change permanent status or location only when the physical answer is known.
